We travel all across the United States of America in search of the best reclaimed lumber available. The vast majority of our inventory comes from historic barns and buildings that were constructed in the late 1800s in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and nearby states.
Once we've located our source, the structure is carefully dismantled piece-by-piece and shipped to our shop by semi-trailers where it is inspected once again upon receiving. We are extremely thorough during the procurement phase as we have very strict standards for what we consider viable lumber product. Nearly all of our inventory is comprised of White Oak, Walnut, Cypress, Hickory, and Chestnut. Because pieces are reclaimed from historic buildings, we have an assortment of different sizes and cuts such as flooring, mantles, beams, wall paneling, and general planks.
What makes the lumber so appealing is the unique appearance that only time and weather can produce as well as the beautiful lines and markings made by handsaws, chisels, and other tools used by master carpenters so many decades ago. Each piece of lumber in our inventory is literally a relic of the past and has its' own intrinsic, unique story to tell that instantly makes any space more interesting and project more beautiful.
